Operations is more than just order execution, it’s our global risk management process. Our integrated operating platform incorporates asset custody and administration, market intelligence feeds, data analysis tools and DMA trading, as well as customized performance attribution and investment reporting systems.
Operating in concert, these systems allow us to decipher the various sources of risk and return within client portfolios. We collectively call these risk and return elements “exposures”, and effectively managing them is the foundation of tactical risk management. Consequently, this is our utmost consideration when executing day-to-day research and investment activities.
The market keeps score on a daily basis, meaning we have daily accountability for our mandate to clients. In this respect, our independence is an asset, as we are free from both the policy restrictions and conflicts of interest that may constrain larger institutions from acheiving this singular focus.
